Coming soon to iPhone and Android

A daily hello, on your own terms.

Our Hello is a calm, large-print daily routine for older adults and the people who help them. Say I’m OK once a day, keep gentle reminders, and keep your trusted people one tap away.

What it does

A simple routine, with your say over every step.

Say hello once a day.

  • Tap I’m OK and the app saves the time on this phone.
  • Add a private mood if you like. Your history is just for you.
  • On iPhone, a home-screen widget lets you say hello from the home screen.

Keep your people close.

  • Add the people you trust, with a photo if you want.
  • Call or text them with one tap. The app opens your phone’s call or message screen, and you decide what to send.
  • Print or share a large-print card with your setup.

Gentle reminders.

  • A daily hello reminder, medicine reminders and appointments, at the times you choose.
  • Medicine reminders can be snoozed for 10 minutes. They are reminders only; the app doesn’t track doses.
  • Reminders come from your phone’s notifications, which your phone can delay or silence.

Help, one tap away.

  • Get help shows Call 911 first, then the people you chose.
  • You place the call or send the text yourself. The app never does it for you.
  • Big text, high contrast and large buttons on every screen.

Our Hello CircleComing soon

When you tap Get help, your family is told at once.

Circle is an optional subscription that connects up to five family members. They join free, on their own phones. There’s no call centre: your family responds, because they know you best.

Circle only works when you tap Get help. It doesn’t detect falls or emergencies and it doesn’t call 911. Your check-in times, moods, medicines and notes stay on your phone.

What Circle shares

What a family member does when you tap Get help:

  1. Gets a notification on their phone.
  2. Taps “I’m on it”, so the others know who is responding.
  3. Calls you. If there’s no answer, goes over, or asks your local police for a welfare check.
  4. Calls 911 if you may be in danger.

Family members may not see an alert straight away. In an emergency, call 911.

Privacy

Private by design.

Your hellos, people and reminders stay on your phone. There’s no account, and no ads, analytics or tracking. Without Circle, the app sends nothing to us, and we can’t see anything you enter.

Read the privacy policy

Information leaves your phone only when you choose to:

  • call or text someone, from your phone’s own apps
  • share or print your large-print card
  • save a backup file
  • turn on Circle and tap Get help

Our Hello doesn’t detect emergencies or call 911. Without Circle, it doesn’t contact anyone on its own, and a missed hello doesn’t alert anyone. If you need urgent help, call 911 or your local emergency number. See the terms of use.

Our Hello is coming soon.
